Fujifilm Instax Square Instant Colour Film

Fujifilm Instax Square Instant Colour Film produces large square-format instant photographs with the classic white border and a balanced 1:1 image area. Designed specifically for cameras and printers using the Instax Square system, each sheet develops automatically after exposure, with the finished image appearing in approximately 90 seconds.

Instax Square film has an ISO 800 sensitivity, providing good flexibility for both indoor and outdoor photography when used with a compatible Instax camera. The larger square image gives you more room for people, backgrounds and creative compositions than the smaller Instax Mini format.

Each pack contains 20 instant photographs, with an overall film size of 86 × 72mm and a square 62 × 62mm image area. No separate developing or laboratory processing is required.

Tips for Using Instax Square Film

Check your camera format first. Look for “Instax Square” on your camera or printer. Mini, Square and Wide films are different sizes and are not interchangeable. Load the film using the alignment marks. Match the coloured mark on the film cartridge with the corresponding mark inside the camera. Do not open the camera back after loading. Opening it before finishing the pack can expose and ruin the remaining sheets. Do not shake the photograph. Instax film develops automatically and does not need shaking. Do not bend or squeeze developing prints. Allow them to develop naturally on a flat or protected surface. Allow approximately 90 seconds for development. Development time can vary depending on temperature. Protect prints from extreme temperatures while developing. Very hot or cold conditions can affect colour and development time. Keep unused film cool and dry. Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat and damp storage areas. Allow refrigerated film to reach room temperature before opening. Keeping the pack sealed while it warms helps prevent condensation. Check the expiry date. Fresh film generally provides the most consistent colour and development. Frame carefully. The 1:1 square format works especially well when subjects are centred or when you use symmetrical and balanced compositions.
