Questions about this product
Why Choose Fujifilm QuickSnap 27 Exposure?
Choose the Fujifilm QuickSnap when you want film photography without needing to buy or learn how to operate a traditional 35mm camera. Everything required for taking photographs is already inside the camera. Simply advance the film, look through the viewfinder, compose your photograph and press the shutter. Its compact size also makes it useful when travelling or attending events where you may not want to carry an expensive camera. Once all 27 exposures have been taken, the complete camera can be handed to a photographic lab for development and scanning or printing. The QuickSnap is also a great introduction to analogue photography because you cannot immediately review or delete photographs. This encourages you to slow down, compose carefully and enjoy the surprise of seeing the finished photographs after processing.
Shooting Tips
Make the most of daylight. QuickSnap cameras generally perform best outdoors or in other well-lit environments. Use the flash indoors. Rooms that appear bright to your eyes can still be too dark for film photography. Prepare the flash before shooting. Allow it enough time to become ready before pressing the shutter. Keep your subject reasonably close when using flash. Small built-in flashes are intended primarily for nearby people and objects. Avoid getting too close. The fixed-focus lens works better when your subject is not immediately in front of the camera. Hold the camera steady. Use both hands and press the shutter smoothly to reduce camera movement. Check the viewfinder carefully. Because there is no digital screen, take a moment to compose the photograph before pressing the shutter. Keep your fingers clear. Avoid covering the lens, flash or viewfinder when holding the camera. Use flash for backlit portraits. If your subject is standing against a very bright background, additional flash can help illuminate their face. Remember you have 27 exposures. There is no instant preview or delete button, so each photograph is part of the film photography experience. Protect the camera from water. Unless specifically marked as a waterproof QuickSnap model, it should be kept dry. Avoid excessive heat. Do not leave the camera for long periods inside a hot car or in strong direct sunlight. Do not open the camera. The film is already loaded and should remain inside until processing. Develop after finishing all 27 exposures. Take the complete camera to a film-processing lab for C-41 development, high-resolution scanning and optional prints.
