Questions about this product

Why Choose Kodak FunSaver?

Choose the Kodak FunSaver if you want a simple film camera that can be used immediately without needing to buy a separate camera or load a roll of film. Its ISO 800 film gives it more flexibility than slower disposable cameras, particularly in cloudy weather, shade and indoor situations. The built-in flash provides additional help in low light and for close-range indoor photographs. It is also an excellent choice for events where you may not want to carry an expensive camera. Guests can easily pick one up and start taking photographs with very little instruction. For beginners, children, wedding guests or anyone wanting a nostalgic film experience, the FunSaver provides a convenient introduction to genuine 35mm photography.

Shooting Tips

Use the flash indoors. Even with ISO 800 film, indoor lighting can be much dimmer than it appears to your eyes. Activate the flash before taking the photograph. The flash is manually controlled rather than automatically deciding when to fire. Keep your subject reasonably close when using flash. Built-in disposable-camera flashes are designed for nearby subjects rather than distant scenes. Use daylight whenever possible. Outdoors in good light, the FunSaver can produce bright, colourful photographs without flash. Hold the camera steady. Keep both hands on the camera and press the shutter smoothly to help reduce camera shake. Keep fingers away from the lens and flash. The compact body makes it easy to accidentally cover part of the front of the camera. Remember you have 27 exposures. There is no instant preview, so compose carefully before pressing the shutter. Use flash for backlit portraits when needed. Extra light can help illuminate faces when the background is much brighter. Do not open the camera. The film is preloaded and the camera is designed to be handed to a film lab intact for processing. Protect it from excessive heat and moisture. Keep the camera dry and avoid leaving it in hot cars or direct sunlight for long periods. Develop after use. Once all exposures are finished, take the complete camera to a film-processing lab for development and scanning or prints.
