Ilford XP2 Super 35mm B&W Single-Use Camera – 27 Exposures
The Ilford XP2 Super 35mm Black & White Single-Use Camera is a convenient, ready-to-use film camera preloaded with 27 exposures of Ilford XP2 Super ISO 400 black & white film. It combines the simplicity of a disposable camera with the distinctive look of monochrome photography.
XP2 Super is a chromogenic black & white film, meaning it produces black & white negatives but is designed for standard C-41 colour negative processing. This makes it especially convenient for photographers who want black & white photographs without requiring traditional black & white development.
Its ISO 400 sensitivity provides good flexibility for daylight, cloudy conditions and general everyday photography, while the built-in flash helps with indoor scenes and lower-light situations.

Questions about this product
Why Choose Ilford XP2 Super Single-Use Camera?
Choose the Ilford XP2 Super Single-Use Camera if you want the appearance of black & white film with the convenience of standard C-41 processing. Unlike Ilford HP5 Plus, which requires traditional black & white chemistry, XP2 Super can be processed in the same type of equipment used for ordinary colour negative film. This makes it particularly useful when you want straightforward lab processing. XP2 Super is also known for its fine grain and wide exposure latitude, making it forgiving in changing lighting conditions. It is a strong choice for beginners who want to experiment with black & white photography without worrying about manual settings or specialist development. The preloaded design means there is no film loading, ISO setting or focusing adjustment required — simply advance, compose and shoot.
Shooting Tips
Use ISO 400 conditions to your advantage. The film offers useful flexibility in daylight, cloudy weather and shade. Use the flash indoors. Even with ISO 400 film, indoor lighting may be too weak without additional illumination. Allow the flash to charge before shooting. Make sure it is ready before pressing the shutter. Keep flash subjects reasonably close. Built-in flashes work best on nearby people and objects rather than distant scenes. Look for strong light and shadow. Black & white photography becomes especially effective when you use contrast, texture and shape creatively. Try portraits near windows. Soft directional window light can produce attractive monochrome portraits. Avoid getting extremely close. The fixed-focus lens is designed for normal everyday shooting distances rather than close-up photography. Hold the camera steady. Use both hands and press the shutter smoothly. Keep your fingers away from the lens and flash. The compact body makes it easy to accidentally cover part of the camera. Think in tones instead of colours. Look for differences between light and dark areas, textures and patterns when composing. Remember you have 27 exposures. There is no digital preview, so take a moment to frame each photograph carefully. XP2 Super is very forgiving. Its broad exposure latitude makes it particularly useful when light conditions change quickly. Do not open the camera. The film is preloaded and the camera should remain closed until processing. Tell your lab it contains XP2 Super. Although it produces black & white photographs, it is designed for C-41 processing, not conventional black & white chemistry. Develop after finishing all 27 exposures. Take the complete camera to a film lab for C-41 processing, high-resolution scanning and optional prints.
