Lucky C200 Colour 120 Film
Lucky C200 is an ISO 200 daylight-balanced colour negative film designed for medium-format photographers who want bold colour, strong contrast and a distinctive analogue character.
In 120 format, Lucky C200 produces warm saturation, particularly strong reds and blues, noticeable contrast and moderate grain, while the larger medium-format negative provides excellent detail and a smoother overall appearance than smaller formats. Its ISO 200 speed makes it particularly well suited to daylight, bright overcast conditions and well-lit outdoor photography.
Lucky C200 is a characterful alternative to more neutral colour films and works especially well for travel, street photography, landscapes, colourful architecture and creative portraits. For the most consistent results, careful metering is recommended rather than heavy underexposure.
It is processed using standard C-41 colour negative chemistry.

Questions about this product
Why Choose Lucky C200 120 Film?
Choose Lucky C200 in 120 format if you want a medium-format colour film with a more distinctive personality than a neutral general-purpose film. Its most noticeable characteristic is its bold colour rendering. Reds and blues can appear particularly strong, while warm tones and higher contrast give photographs a lively, slightly nostalgic appearance. The larger 120 negative also works particularly well with this film. Medium-format cameras capture more negative area per photograph, helping preserve fine details and giving the film's grain a smoother appearance in scans and prints. Lucky C200 is therefore a good choice for photographers who want their choice of film to contribute visibly to the finished photograph rather than simply reproducing colours as neutrally as possible.
Shooting Tips for Lucky C200 120 Film
Start at ISO 200. Box speed is the safest starting point for achieving the film's intended colour and contrast. Give it plenty of light. Lucky C200 is primarily a daylight film and performs particularly well in sunny and bright overcast conditions. Avoid heavy underexposure. Insufficient exposure can make shadows denser and grain more noticeable. Meter carefully. Lucky C200 is best treated as a film where good exposure matters, particularly in scenes containing strong highlights and deep shadows. Use its colour creatively. Red signs, blue skies, colourful clothing, painted buildings and vibrant landscapes can work especially well. Try it during golden hour. Warm evening sunlight can emphasise the film's saturated, nostalgic character. Use a tripod when light levels fall. ISO 200 may require slower shutter speeds in shade, interiors or towards evening. Focus carefully. The larger 120 negative captures plenty of detail, so accurate focusing will help you get the best from the film. Remember that frame count depends on your camera. A roll of 120 film typically gives around 15–16 photographs at 6×4.5, 12 at 6×6, 10 at 6×7 or 8 at 6×9, depending on the camera. Scan at good resolution. Medium-format Lucky C200 negatives can produce detailed scans while retaining the film's distinctive colour and grain. Process using C-41. Lucky C200 uses standard colour negative chemistry and does not require specialist processing.
