Candido 35mm Colour Film Bundle – Candido 200, Candido 400 & Candido 800

The Candido 35mm Colour Film Bundle includes three different colour negative films — Candido 200, Candido 400 and Candido 800 — giving photographers a useful range of film speeds for different lighting conditions and creative styles.

Use Candido 200 when you have plenty of light and want a slower film for outdoor photography. Candido 400 is the versatile everyday choice for daylight, cloudy weather, street photography and general shooting, while Candido 800 gives you the extra sensitivity needed for lower light, interiors, evening photography and night-time scenes.

With three different speeds in one bundle, it is an excellent choice for photographers who want to experiment with different Candido films or carry several options for travel, street photography, portraits and everyday analogue photography.

Questions about this product

Why Choose the Candido 35mm Colour Film Bundle?

Choose this bundle if you want greater flexibility without committing to three rolls of the same film speed. The combination of ISO 200, 400 and 800 means you can choose a film according to the conditions you expect to photograph in. Candido 200 is the slower option and works particularly well when plenty of light is available. Candido 400 sits in the middle and is the most versatile choice for general everyday photography. Candido 800 provides extra sensitivity for evening, indoor and lower-light situations where an ISO 200 film could require shutter speeds that are too slow for comfortable handheld photography. The bundle is also an excellent way to compare how different film speeds affect grain, colour, contrast and overall image character.

Which Candido Film Should You Use?

Film | Speed | Best Conditions | Ideal For Candido 200 | ISO 200 | Bright daylight and good available light | Travel, portraits, landscapes, sunny days Candido 400 | ISO 400 | Daylight, cloud, shade and changing conditions | Street, travel, everyday photography, portraits Candido 800 | ISO 800 | Lower light, interiors and evening conditions | Night photography, events, indoor portraits, city lights

Shooting Tips

Match the ISO setting to the film. Set your camera to ISO 200, 400 or 800 according to the roll you have loaded. Use Candido 200 when light is plentiful. Bright outdoor conditions allow you to take advantage of the slower film without struggling with shutter speed. Choose Candido 400 when you are unsure what conditions you will encounter. ISO 400 gives a useful balance between image quality and flexibility. Keep Candido 800 for lower light. The extra sensitivity can help maintain faster shutter speeds indoors, during evening shoots or after sunset. Avoid unnecessary underexposure. Colour negative film generally benefits from receiving enough light, particularly when you want good shadow detail. Use faster lenses in low light. Pairing Candido 800 with a wider aperture can make handheld night and indoor photography much easier. Keep notes while testing the bundle. Recording the film stock, lighting and camera settings will make it easier to decide which Candido film you prefer. Store unused rolls cool and dry. Keep film away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and damp conditions. Let refrigerated film warm before use. Keep it sealed while it reaches room temperature to reduce the risk of condensation. Develop each roll according to its processing instructions. Tell your film lab if you deliberately rate a roll differently from its stated ISO.
