Questions about this product
Why Choose the Ilford 35mm B&W Film Bundle?
Choose this bundle if you want to discover how different black & white films can produce noticeably different results even when they share the same ISO rating. HP5 Plus is ideal when you want a traditional photographic look with visible grain, strong character and excellent flexibility for push processing. XP2 Super is the easiest option for photographers who want black & white images but prefer the convenience of standard C-41 processing. It also has very wide exposure latitude and produces particularly smooth results. DELTA 400 Professional is the refined option, offering finer grain and excellent detail for photographers who prefer a cleaner, more modern monochrome look. This makes the bundle perfect for testing which Ilford film best suits your personal photography style.

Shooting Tips
Start each film at ISO 400. This provides a fair comparison and predictable results. Try photographing the same scene on all three films. Portraits, architecture and street scenes are ideal for comparing their different grain and tonal characteristics. Choose HP5 Plus when you want character. Its traditional grain and excellent push capability make it ideal for expressive photography. Choose XP2 Super when convenience matters. It uses C-41 processing, so it can be developed alongside colour negative film. Choose DELTA 400 when detail is the priority. Its finer grain and clean appearance make it particularly suitable for larger prints and high-resolution scans. Give the shadows enough exposure. Proper exposure generally produces better tonal detail and easier-to-scan negatives. Push HP5 Plus when necessary. Shooting at EI 800 or 1600 can be useful in low light, but tell your lab so development can be adjusted. XP2 Super is unusually flexible. It can tolerate a wide range of exposure settings while still using standard C-41 processing. Tell your lab which film you are using. HP5 Plus and DELTA 400 require traditional black & white development, while XP2 Super requires C-41. Try coloured filters. Yellow, orange or red filters can increase tonal separation and darken blue skies with HP5 Plus and DELTA 400. Remember to compensate for light loss. Scan at high resolution. All three films can produce excellent digital files, but their different grain structures become especially interesting when compared closely. Store unused film cool and dry. Keep film away from excessive heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
