Questions about this product
Why Choose the Kodak 35mm Colour Film Bundle?
Choose this bundle if you want three versatile Kodak colour films in one convenient pack. It is especially useful for photographers who are still discovering which film stock they prefer. Instead of buying several rolls of the same film, you can compare ColorPlus 200, GOLD 200 and UltraMax 400 in different lighting conditions and subjects. The two ISO 200 films are particularly well suited to daylight photography, while UltraMax 400 gives you more flexibility when light levels drop. It is also a practical bundle for holidays or travel, giving you the option to choose a slower or faster film depending on the weather and shooting conditions.
The Three Films Compared
Film | Speed | Character | Best For Kodak ColorPlus 200 | ISO 200 | Warm, natural colour with classic consumer-film character | Everyday photography, holidays, daylight and casual portraits Kodak GOLD 200 | ISO 200 | Warm, vibrant colour with pleasing saturation and fine grain | Travel, landscapes, portraits, golden hour and family photography Kodak UltraMax 400 | ISO 400 | Vibrant colour with greater low-light flexibility | Street, travel, cloudy weather, shade, events and everyday photography
Shooting Tips
Use ISO 200 for ColorPlus and GOLD. Set your camera to ISO 200 when loading either of these films. Use ISO 400 for UltraMax. The faster speed gives you greater flexibility in lower light and helps maintain faster shutter speeds. Choose your film based on the weather. On bright sunny days, ColorPlus 200 or GOLD 200 are excellent choices. On cloudy days or in shade, UltraMax 400 may be more practical. Try GOLD 200 during golden hour. Warm late-afternoon sunlight works particularly well with its warm colour reproduction. Use UltraMax 400 for changing conditions. If you are unsure what the light will be like throughout the day, ISO 400 is the most flexible option in the bundle. Avoid heavy underexposure. Colour negative film generally produces better shadow detail and colour when it receives enough light. Keep track of which film you used. Make a quick note of the film stock, camera and lighting so you can compare the results later. Store unused film cool and dry. Keep the rolls away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Process all three using C-41. ColorPlus 200, UltraMax 400 and GOLD 200 all use standard colour negative processing.
