Polaroid Go Instant Colour Film

Polaroid Go Instant Colour Film is the compact instant-film format made specifically for Polaroid Go cameras. It delivers the classic Polaroid look in a much smaller, highly portable print, making it ideal for parties, travel, everyday memories, scrapbooks and sharing with friends.

The film is rated at ASA 640 and produces a small square image surrounded by the familiar Polaroid-style frame. Each photo develops automatically after leaving the camera, with the image typically becoming fully visible in around 10–15 minutes.

A standard Polaroid Go colour film double pack contains 16 photographs in total – two cartridges of 8 shots each. The film is battery-free and requires no separate developing or laboratory processing.

Questions about this product

Which Cameras Use Polaroid Go Film?

Polaroid Go film is specifically designed for the Polaroid Go camera system. Compatible cameras include: - Polaroid Go Generation 3 - Polaroid Go Generation 2 - Original Polaroid Go / Generation 1 It is designed only for Polaroid Go cameras. Important: Polaroid Go film is not compatible with Polaroid i-Type, 600, SX-70 or other full-size Polaroid cameras. Those cameras use physically larger film formats.

Why Choose Polaroid Go Instant Film?

Choose Polaroid Go film when you want genuine analogue instant photography in a much smaller and more portable format. The compact prints are small enough to keep in a wallet, phone case, diary or travel journal, while still giving you the unmistakable appearance of a real Polaroid photograph. It is particularly appealing for social photography because the finished photograph becomes a physical keepsake that can be handed to someone immediately. There is no printer, computer or film lab involved. The ASA 640 sensitivity also gives the Polaroid Go camera useful flexibility for everyday photography, particularly when the camera's built-in flash is used as intended.

Tips for Using Polaroid Go Film

Use the correct film. Check that the pack clearly says Polaroid Go before loading it into your camera. Use the flash regularly. Instant film needs plenty of light, and using the camera's flash can improve results indoors and in weaker light. Keep the developing photo protected from bright light. When the print first ejects, shielding it from strong sunlight during the early stages of development can help produce more consistent results. Allow 10–15 minutes for full development. Do not expect the finished image immediately after the photo ejects. Do not shake the photograph. Modern Polaroid film develops chemically on its own and shaking does not speed up the process. Do not bend or squeeze the print. Allow the chemistry inside the photograph to develop undisturbed. Get reasonably close to your subject. The small image format works particularly well when the main subject clearly fills the frame. Keep unused film cool. Store unopened packs somewhere cool and dry, away from heat and direct sunlight. Let refrigerated film reach room temperature before opening. Keep it sealed while warming to help prevent condensation. Check the expiry date. Fresh instant film generally gives the most predictable colour and development. Use each cartridge soon after loading. This helps keep results consistent and reduces the chance of film being affected by prolonged storage inside the camera. Remember the format is unique. Polaroid Go film cannot be substituted with i-Type, 600 or SX-70 film.
